Sophia Duck

I am the co-chair of MENTOR’s Committee on Racial Equity (CORE) where we are empowering all national affiliates to promote racial equity through our racial equity action plan focused on three tiers: the individual, organization and the movement. I was part of the team that planned a series of racial equity trainings for our team and boards. Personally, I share with people that my role at The Mentoring Partnership is to ensure that mentors ‘do no more harm’ while in relationship with youth. I am interested in building relationships between communities and generations that have been weakened due to racial trauma.
