The Human Flourishing Research Collaborative at the University of Pittsburgh recently hosted the Human Flourishing Symposium, bringing together students, faculty, staff and community members to examine how strength-based approaches can support well-being and resilience.

Through inspiring keynotes, dynamic panel discussions and innovative research presentations, attendees explored ways to apply human flourishing frameworks in social work, research, community practice and more. This symposium fostered interdisciplinary collaboration, providing opportunities for attendees to engage with experts, share insights and discuss practical strategies for addressing social challenges.

The Human Flourishing Symposium was jointly organized by the Flourishing Research Collaboratives (FRC) in the School of Social Work and The Headwaters Project in the Department of Health Sciences and Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
